Namibia - Hunting with friends in south western Africa.

Namibia is the perfect entry-level land for hunting trips to Africa. The former "German South West Africa" offers original nature as well as a diverse and stable wildlife population. Especially for hunting antelopes and warthogs it offers excellent hunting opportunities. Likewise, there are good stocks of cheetah and leopard as well as in Caprivi Strip in the north lion, buffalo and elephant.

landscape:
Namibia offers diverse landscapes of pure desert and steppe, bush and the water-rich Caprivi Strip. The landscape consists of Mashete, camel thorn and other bushes and is partially covered by rocks and mountains. Depending on the desired type of game the countryside can be very different, as some species such as zebra are living in open areas where as Damara dik or mountain zebra only in hilly / mountainous terrain. Depending on the license availability, predators such as leopard or cheetah can be hunted next to the antelopes.

According to the landscape, the biodiversity and wildlife population the areas north of Windhoek can be said as very game rich. Besides hunting Namibia offers many sightseeing opportunities.

hunting areas
We offer hunting on various farming areas in 3 Conservancy. Included in the Conservancy we have various hunting farms, so that the hunting is not limited to the respective main farm but during a stay different farms can be visited with mostly different landscapes.

All three farms are run by professional hunters which are English and German-speaking. The hunt takes place mainly as stalking which a previous Game drive to find the game. The stalk can be combined with sitting at waterholes around noon or depending on the wish of the hunter we can also sir at water holes on morning / evening. On request from the hunter, the hunt can be also mainly done as a game drive in case the hunter is not able to walk to much.

Bow hunting
The farm in the northeast is specialized in addition to pure hunting rifle also on bow hunting. Here they still work with the domestic Sen as tracker. Due to this specialization and experience of the professional hunter you have a good chance to hunt your desired game with the bow.

Accommodation:
Accommodation is either in small Chalais with 2 bed with private bath or in separate 2 bed Rooms with shower depending on the farm. The food is served in the main house, depending on the season you can cool off in each of the available pools. The excellent cuisine will spoil you with a variety of local dishes whereby in particular, the different game are offered.

Climate:

In Namibia there is an extremely dry and hot climate with more than 300 sunny days per year. The temperatures in the summer months from September to April vary between 25 and 39 ° C. The winter months offer the contrast of cold mornings and nights but after the rising of the sun usually forgotten very quickly as we are back at 20+ degree. The rainy season is between November and March.

Tourism Options:
In addition to hunting at the farms we can also offer day trips to attractions including the Etosha National Park, Vigerklip or to be further planned. The Southern Farm offers the possibility of a visit to Windhoek or several other 1-day tours. The respective tourism options are tailored to designed to meet the needs of the customer.
