The spring hunting takes place from May to mid-June and is done from the well-equipped base camp with shower and kitchen. Spring hunting is usually started from the car and is continued as stalk when the bear is detected. At the autumn hunting the black bear are hunted as a combination with moose. Mature trophy bears can reach 6 to 6.5 feet.
